KillCoachAI Privacy Policy

We receive information from you, your use of our products, connected clubs or coaches, sign-in providers and payment providers as applicable.

Some app features may request camera, photo or microphone access when you choose to use them; your device controls these permissions. We do not use precise GPS location, contacts or advertising identifiers for the features described here.

We do not use your information for unrelated purposes without an appropriate basis. We do not sell it or use it for advertising.

Optional AI coaching and diagnoses use relevant scores, target results, discipline and any questions you submit. We ask for permission before sending scoring information for AI coaching; you can turn it off under Account → Privacy & notifications. The rest of the app continues to work without it.

Requests go through the Lovable AI Gateway to an AI model provider, such as Google Gemini or OpenAI. Depending on the feature, a round recap can include the names entered for shooters in that round, the venue and date as well as scoring figures. We do not intentionally send your account email, phone number or payment details in coaching prompts. AI responses can be wrong; follow range safety rules and your coach’s instructions.

Our service providers process information needed for their work. Providers and features may vary by product:

Athlete information available in the coaching workspace depends on the athlete’s sharing choices and linked club or organisation permissions. Coaches and organisations share reports or progress information with recipients they choose. Organised competition results may be available to organisers and appear in results and leaderboards.

Each provider that handles personal data works under a data processing agreement with us, including Lovable, Cloudflare, Google, OpenAI, PostHog, Stripe, RevenueCat and Apple. Most of these agreements are built into the provider's business terms; where a provider requires a separately signed agreement, we have signed one.

We may also disclose information when required by law, a court order or a valid request, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable requirements.

We use HTTPS/TLS for traffic to the service and access controls for stored information. Sign-in passwords are handled by the authentication provider rather than stored in plain text by the app. Card details are handled by payment providers. No system can guarantee absolute security; we will respond to incidents and notify affected people and regulators where required by law.

We keep account and activity information while needed to provide the service and remove or anonymise it when your account is deleted, except for the records below.

See Delete your account for the account-deletion steps. To erase only some of your data and keep your account, use Erase some of my data. De-identified or aggregated information may be kept longer where it can no longer identify you.

Update your details in your account. For account deletion, go to Account → Security & data → Danger zone → Delete account and type DELETE. If you cannot sign in, use the account-deletion page to request a confirmation email. That page explains what remains on shared or official records. If you own an organisation, an ownership handover may be required before deletion can finish.

Website subscriptions, where offered, use Stripe. Apple and Google in-app purchasing relates to the separate KillCountAI installed app, not to a KillCoachAI store subscription. Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription; cancel it through the relevant store. Website card subscriptions are cancelled as part of account deletion.

To request a copy of your information or a correction, email hardus@killcoach.ai. You can withdraw AI permission and turn off PostHog usage analytics under Account → Privacy & notifications. Website analytics may still operate separately. Use an unsubscribe link to stop optional marketing emails; device permissions can be changed in device settings. Earlier processing is not undone by a later change of preference.

KillCoachAI accounts are for users aged 18 and over, and the sign-up screen requires users to confirm this. Junior shooters are scored by their coach or club under the adult's account; no child creates an account or gives us personal data directly. If you believe a child has supplied information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.

We operate from the United States and South Africa, and providers may process information in other countries. Data leaving the EEA, UK or Switzerland is protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, plus the UK Addendum for UK data; our providers include these in their data processing agreements. Where a US provider is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, that certification applies as well. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. For South African users, transfers meet section 72 of POPIA through the same contractual safeguards.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent. Contact hardus@killcoach.ai; we will respond within the period required by applicable law.

For EEA, UK and Swiss rights, transfers and our Data Protection Officer details, see the GDPR Policy. You may complain to your local authority. In South Africa you may contact the Information Regulator. We do not sell personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

When this policy changes, we will update the date on this page. Where law requires additional notice or permission for a material change, we will provide it.
